Child Trust Fund limit increases

As of today, Tuesday 1st November 2011, the Child Trust Fund (CTF) limit has tripled to align it with the new Junior Isa subscription limit. This means that youngsters with an existing CTF can now put away up to £3,600 per year, up from the previous limit of £1,200.
Neville Thompson, Chief Executive at the Society comments, “This increase in the savings limit is great news for those customers who have a Child Trust Fund account with us. Not only does it now allow them to save even more - just as much as those with a new Junior Isa - but it’s tax free and currently has one of our best interest rates.”
