The Earl Shilton Building Society

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Paul Tilley as the new Chief Executive here at the Earl Shilton Building Society.

The 46-year old from Desborough joins us from the Market Harborough Building Society where he had been for the past 27 years, most recently as the Head of Business Services and Compliance. He takes up his new role following the retirement of previous Earl Shilton Chief Executive, Neville Thompson, after 21 years of service at the Society.

I hope to bring an energy and enthusiasm to take the business through its next stage of development in the interests of our members.

“It is a challenging market both for savers given the low interest rate environment and for borrowers where the wider-economic difficulties present mortgage availability and affordability issues for some. Economic recovery will be long and slow but there are, and will continue to be, opportunities for many businesses and individuals.”
