January can be tough financially after the festive season takes its toll, so we asked if Christmas impacted your savings at all. Over half of those asked had planned their savings ahead of time to accommodate the spending, while 14% achieved the same goal by keeping Christmas frugal. The remaining third took a hit to their savings with more to buy than anticipated.
