Britain is a nation of homeowners, and last month we asked how long it took to save up for your first house deposit.
The majority of those surveyed saved for over five years, whilst over a quarter of respondents are speedy savers, having taken about a year to get their deposit together. The remaining 40% took, or are planning to take, between two and five years to save.
