Everyone has their preferred ways of allocating their money, and last month we wanted to know how people prioritised saving.
The vast majority of you follow the “pay yourself first” mind-set with almost 80% setting aside a fixed amount at the start of the month. On the other end of the scale 14% don’t save at all. None of the respondents save sporadically, while 7% are more flexible with their spending and putting away what’s left at the end of the month.
|What’s your approach to saving?||Results|
|I pay in a set amount at the beginning of the month||79%|
|I pay in whatever’s left at the end of the month||7%|
|I pay in little bits throughout the month||0%|
|I don’t save anything||14%|
