September’s poll presented some interesting results…
Over three times as many University students rely on government student loans, as opposed to personal savings, as their primary source of income.
That’s according to our monthly poll for September, which indicates that students are just as likely to be funded through University by friends or family as they are by their own personal savings.
10.5% paid their way through part-time work, whilst 32% mustered the money by other means.
If you are going to, or have been to University, what was your main source of funds? | Results |
Personal savings | 10.5% |
Part time work | 10.5% |
Government Maintenance loan | 36.5% |
Financial support from friends or family | 10.5% |
Other | 32% |
