esbs, or Earl Shilton Building Society, is delighted to have won a consecutive award for its self-build mortgage offering.
Voted for by the public, esbs scooped the Best Self-Build Lender award in The Money Page’s 24th Annual Personal Finance Awards 2021/22, which it also received in 2020/21. The Personal Finance Awards have long been recognised as a benchmark for excellence in the UK’s consumer finance market.
esbs can consider mortgages for self-builds to cover land purchases (with planning permission), buying a property to renovate as well as barn conversions, and can support with a remortgage for a self-build project that has already started to help keep progress on track.
esbs can even consider a self-build project where planning permission has been granted and is subject to an agricultural tie clause, or a Section 106 occupancy clause. And for those looking to use Modern Methods of Construction, BOPAS accredited construction can also be considered.
Paul Tilley, Chief Executive of esbs, said: “We’re immensely proud to have our efforts recognised by voters of The Money Pages Personal Finance Awards for the second year running.
“I would like to congratulate and thank our colleagues for the effort they put into treating each customer as individuals, ensuring they get the best service and product available. I’d also like to express appreciation for our members who have shown their support by voting.”
