esbs, or Earl Shilton Building Society, is delighted to have won an award for its self-build mortgage offering.
Voted for by the public, esbs scooped the Best Self-Build Lender award in The Money Page’s 23rd Annual Personal Finance Awards 2020/21.
esbs can consider mortgages for self-builds to cover land purchases (with planning permission), buying a property to renovate as well as barn conversions, and can support with a remortgage for a self-build project that has already started to help keep progress on track.
esbs can even consider a self-build project where planning permission has been granted and is subject to an agricultural tie clause, or a Section 106 occupancy clause. And for those looking to use Modern Methods of Construction, BOPAS accredited construction can also be considered. Paul Tilley, Chief Executive of esbs, said: “We’re immensely proud to have our efforts recognised by voters of The Money Pages Personal Finance Awards as our broad mortgage offering and the quality of service our team provides is something we continually work on.
“I would like to congratulate and thank our staff for the effort they put in daily, and express our appreciation for our members who have shown their support in what has been a particularly challenging year.”
