The Chairman of Earl Shilton Building Society has officially cut the ribbon on its newly-refurbished branch in Barwell.
Martin Rice was on hand to unveil the revamped branch, which is located at Malt Mill Bank, at a special evening ceremony attended by the Society’s staff, former staff and members.
The Barwell branch has been an integral part of the business for decades, and the works have brought it up to speed with its Earl Shilton counterpart, which underwent a major transformation itself in 2013.
Included in the raft of improvements to the building are a replacement of the exterior signage to brand match it with the Head Office, a total reinvention of the interior layout and décor, as well as a brand new interview room and customer counter.
Paul Tilley, Chief Executive of Earl Shilton Building Society, said: “It is my pleasure to welcome members of the Society to our newly-refurbished Barwell branch, which now stands side-by-side with our Head Office in terms of the facilities and services it is able to provide.
“The new branch has greater accessibility, offers a pleasant, light and appealing environment for staff and members alike, and strengthens our commitment to the locality by providing a fresh and modern presence.”
