The Cash ISA provides the opportunity to earn tax-free interest.

 

The Society is currently accepting Cash ISA transfers in.  Please contact a member of our Savings Team on 01455 844422 or visit one of our branches to discuss your requirements. If you prefer to contact us via email SavingsTeam@esbs.co.uk then we can call you.  Once discussed, we will provide you with an application form for you to complete and we will arrange your transfer to us.

If you already hold an existing ISA with us, you can’t transfer it into this account. New subscriptions and external transfers in only.

What is the Interest Rate?4.10% Gross/4.10% AER (From 1st April 2026)

AER stands for Annual Equivalent Rate.  It illustrates what the interest rate would be if interest was paid and compounded each year.

Interest is calculated daily and is variable.  Interest is compounded annually on the 5th April.

Can esbs change the Interest Rate?We may change interest rates at any time if we reasonably believe the change is needed.  Please refer to Condition 7 – Interest in the Terms and Conditions for esbs Retail Savings Accounts for further details.

How do I open and manage my account?

 

 

 

  • The account may only be opened by UK residents (subject to an exception for certain Crown employees, their spouse or registered civil partner).
  • Minimum age 18, sole investors only.
  • Minimum balance £10.
  • Maximum subscription limit is £20,000 from the 6th April to the 5th April.
  • To apply for an Triple Access ISA Online please read the Triple Access ISA Online leaflet to ensure this account is suitable for you.  Please be certain to read the Terms and Conditions for esbs Retail Savings Accounts.
  • If you wish to open an account you must use the online application form on our website
  • To be able to monitor the account, you will need to register for the esbs Online
    Services which can be found on our website
  • Correspondence will be through email and other digital channels only
  • Identification verification will be carried out electronically but if this is not possible then we will ask you to provide proof of identification
Can I withdraw money?
  • Yes – Instant Access.
  • Maximum 3 withdrawals per year (6th of April – 5th April) – further withdrawals will result in account closure.
  • Withdrawals can be requested through the Online Services Portal and will be by bank transfer to your registered nominated bank account in your own name. Please allow 3 working days for the funds to reach your nominated bank account.
  •  If you wish to change your nominated bank account then the request will need to be made through the Online Services Portal. This will be verified electronically.
  • Interest can only be paid into the account

  • This is a flexible Cash ISA. Money withdrawn may be replaced in the same tax year without it counting towards the annual subscription limit.
